So my wife and I are from Indianapolis and expecting our third child; deciding it was time to look at other options for childcare we decide our best option would be to find a nanny preferably a nanny in Indianapolis close to our home.
We placed a classified ad on Craigslist and have started receiving a few responses but nothing has panned out yet. My wife heard about Care.com and place an ad for a nannies in Indianapolis and we've received an excellent response rate so far with a couple that we are preparing to schedule interviews for.
One of the nice things that separates Care.com from Craigslist; Care.com provides background checks on all of their nannies in Indianapolis and several other states and towns. The website is pretty easy to navigate through--which makes things a lot easier and faster when searching for the perfect nanny.
I guess one of the perks/bonuses of registering on the Care.com website is that if you ever are in need of a pre-screened babysitter you simply log on to find a sitter -- you never really have to worry about not having a sitter again.
